About the Hostess
Jennifer Geronaitis is a new Plymouth Yacht Club member, a mother of
two, and the first mate on "Family First". Her passion for
tea and experience in advertising and sales lead her to fulfill a long
time dream of starting her own business called Tea Time World Wide.
Initially the business began as a 70- page site about tea but has recently
branched out into many areas including the planning of unique, first
class events. Of all her offerings, events are her favorite. Every detail
is important and her number one concern is pleasing her guests.
About the Pianist
Mochi C-Kubo Chan, originally from Japan, is a long-time resident
of Manchester, N.H. She studied music with Ivana Stanovska at Musashino
Conservatory in Japan , with Aiko Kurosawa at the Tokyo University of
Arts, with Ludwig Hoffmann at the Hochschule fur Music in Munich, and
with Tatyana Nikolayeva at the Morzarteum in Salzburg, Austria. She
is a pianist, harpsichordist, and music teacher and also holds a master's
degree in Latin philosophy. Her concerts have taken her all over Japan
and the United States, as well as Saudi Arabia, where she was a private
tutor in music, history, theory, and piano to a Saudi princess. She
has performed many benefit concerts, under the patronage of UNICEF,
and for the American Earthquake Relief Fund. From 1976 to 1977, Mrs.
Chan accompanied the Women's Chorale at M.I.T. in Cambridge, MA. She
is currently a member of the faculty at the Notre Dame College Community
Music School and Notre Dame College.
