Living With IntentionFeng Shui with Mary Stewart by Jennifer Geronaitis "I have always been fascinated with "the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui. I've experienced first hand the positive changes that can take place when one transforms the flow of energy in their environment and uses that energy to bring about positive change. After one consultation with Mary Stewart a few weeks ago I have observed positive changes in every aspect of my career and harmony at my dinner table. There is something to this Ancient Science and I am fascinated to learn more." Jennifer Geronaitis Tea Time World Wide What is a Feng Shui? "Feng Shui is a systematic approach to ones living and workspace that brings harmony to ones surroundings, directs ones creative and productive energies and amplifies ones opportunities for success in all areas of life." What is a Feng Shui Consultant? A person trained in Feng Shui who educates and empowers people about the life changing principles of this ancient art. A consultant works with clients in their homes, offices, gardens or other living spaces, evaluates their situation and helps individuals positively direct what the Asians call "Chi" to bring about change, happiness and success in all aspects of ones life. These aspects or "life aspirations" include: Family and Health, Wealth and Prosperity, Recognition & Fame, Love, Marriage and Romantic Happiness, Children & Creativity, Mentors & Networking, Career Success, Education and Knowledge... What kinds of things did Mary consider before coming to your home for the consultation? Mary sends a detailed questionnaire a couple of weeks before the consultation so that she can tailor her visit to the immediate needs of her clients. She asks for information about the number of occupants in the home, their birth dates and positions in the family. She asks for a simple floor plan of the home and asks her clients to list and prioritize the areas in their life that they wish to focus on. Why would she need to know about the occupants and their families? The birth dates are important for figuring out the optimum direction each family member should be facing and placed for the most positive Chi in the home . These directions are considered in every aspect of life. It is believed that if a child has been having difficulty doing their homework one could improve the child's studies habits etc. by simply changing the direction in which the child is sitting at the desk in a more positive direction. If dinner time is chaotic each night often times, harmony can be created by simply changing the seating arrangements at the dinner table. Also if a person has difficulty sleeping there may be of way of manipulating elements in the bed room to change this. Why does she want a simple floor plan of your home? Mary needs a simple floor plan of your home so that she can see the direction parts of the house face. The direction that the front door is facing is very important for analyzing each room in the home. Every room in the home represents an area from the eight life aspirations and within each room the wall and floor space represent one of the eight life aspirations. Why does Mary ask the client about areas in their life they would like to focus on during her visit? Every client has different priorities. One person might want to focus 100% on improving a love relationship while another may want to see their career take off. Another's focus might be on improving health. I believe this exercise of evaluating ones life and reviewing priorities is a very important process for both the client and the consultant. I feel a commitment by the client ahead of time to welcome positive change is an important part of the process, even before the physical elements of the home are changed. Can Feng Shui be implemented using any décor? Yes, Although most people associate Feng Shui with Asian things, crystals, mirrors, water fountains and bamboo, a consultant can work with elements of any style ranging from those of an antique farm house to a modern city penthouse. The Five Elements Theory is that everything in the universe is made up of five elements: Fire, Metal, Earth, Wood and Water which create either "Good" or "Bad" Feng Shui. Each element can be interpreted in many ways. For instance Earth can be a pottery bowl or a photograph of a Pyramid. Water can be a pool, fountain, or a print of a boat on a lake. Would you recommend Mary to others? Absolutely. I was very impressed with Mary's professionalism and the positive changes I have experienced in my life since she came to my home. I've continued to make changes on my own based on the information she has provided. She shares her wisdom and bonds with each client and has a genuine interest in helping to improve the lives of others. What are Mary Stewart's credentials and how can I contact her?
